As far back as I can remember, crafting has been my jam. Growing up, my mother was always the ultimate crafter. When I say ultimate I mean above and beyond, no exaggeration here. So it's safe to say she has been a great inspiration to my visions and all of my artwork through the years. I would love to tell you the story of how EKG Creations came to be, if you have a few minutes to spare...

A while back, my not so up to date house needed some work. I figured (with the help of youtube of course) I could do a lot of the work myself, given my love for creating. So, I went out, got a few tools and got to work. What started as one small project quickly turned into fulfillment and a sense of pride, leading to many more projects throughout the house.

Fast forward some time and I had a family of my own. I was now a wife and the mother to one gorgeous little girl. I quickly outgrew this cute little house I had put so much work into, and really where I discovered my love for power tools. We purchased a larger house, and with a larger house I had a lot of room to fill. While shopping for furniture I became frustrated. It was hard to find what I wanted to fit each space and even if I did find it, chances were it was out of budget. So naturally I went to the drawing board and started building my own furniture and decor for the house. When I say I fell in love, head over heels in love, I mean it. I found a true passion for taking wood that was just plain and turning it into something beautiful, unique and most importantly practical!

So here I was, loving life, building away. Just a girl and her power tools. Seeing the passion I had for creating art out of wood, my dad and step-mom brought my wonderful glowforge into my life. This machine is a crafters dream! I could not have been more excited.

I just knew I could make amazing things with my new machine and so began the idea of EKG Creations. Inspired by my day job of being a paramedic and my favorite little human, Ella (initials EKG), our business was formed. 

​

All of the custom items in the shop are made using this amazing 3D printer. They are personally designed and finished by yours truly (well let's just be honest my daughter has her hands in everything too). So chances are if you order something from us, Ella helped with some part of your order.
